I only received my passport in October because I was getting married in November and going on my honeymoon the same week. Although I asked for application updates 2 times (with about a month in between) I never received any response. I had to take 2 days off of work and call the office to get them to finally expedite it as it was still “in process” when I called. Picking up at the office once it was ready was easy.
