Some workers were very helpful when I called. One was beyond rude. (I called 3 times to get updates). The system is very broken. Allowing people to jump the cue because they went ahead and stupidly book vacation without a passport was beyond unreasonable.

It was stressful because of all the news we were hearing about the delays. I was traveling in September and I was scared I wouldn’t get my passport on time because the delays changed after I sent my application. So, 20 business days before my travel date, I called and the agent proposed me to transfer my application to a location near me. But, to my surprise, I received the passport before that. So I can’t complain about the service. It also didn’t take me such a long time to get to talk to someone. Sometimes the lines are all taken, but I called back a couple of times and got eventually put on hold. Both agent of spoke to were really nice and helpful.

I applied kids passport for my 3 kids, 2 passports were delivered within a month. They requested to correct of the parent surname on the child birth certificate other passport , I submitted the correct childbirth certificate at service Canada in February 2023 and received the passport on July 1st 2022. Thanks
